The hopes and fears of all the years.

I made these cards out of photographs i took in Bulgaria and wrote on them my favorite lines of christmas songs. Photos taken in our trusty Franka (crapcam).

Old Home.

We bought a proper house and we moved last week! These pictures are of our old flat that we loved muchly! Taken on different sunny days over the last year.

silhouette sculptures.

Tim Noble and Sue Webster have created these amazingly detailed silhouette sculptures out of old wool and broken tools.

The "Nihilistic Optimistic" exhibition is currently showing at Blain Southern, London.

Bring With You History.

Bring With You History produce handmade cushions created from a selection of recycled vintage souvenir tea-towels.

The backing fabrics are 100% recycled and are limited to a small number of cushions ensuring each one is unique. As of now these can be purchased in the sweet little shop The Wooden Heart (112 Byres Road, Glasgow) And online shortly in the Navy&Brown shop.

A day trip.

We set off today in the most unpromising weather for a bit of a picnic. We ended up having our sandwiches by this little boating village in Loch Lomond. We forgot our camera so all these photos where taken on my phone sorry for the haziness! 

Strawberries.

I saved these wild strawberries from our friends yard, against all johns advice i decided to see if they would grow on our bedroom window and they grew a treat! so i made a cake and put them on top. 

Walter.

This is Walter. He is pretty sophisticated. We picked him up from the charity shop.

Flora.

I, like most, like flowers. I get mine mostly from the man at the side of the road or from friends and more recently from a friends garden whilst playing conservationist to their excavation project.

Easy as pie.

I baked a pie, a pear and bramble pie actually!

I hear it's the jubilee this weekend, two of my favourite things are bunting and the royal family!

Any excuse to hang some of our vintage Union Jack bunting!

Grey

I want this to be my house. I am even feeling brat like about it. I don't even know where it is. But its perfect, the shade of grey its years has made it, the teeny window at the very top and the hight of the trees around it I even like the grey skies. Oh i could get a grey cat and some grey socks to match.
