Strawberries.

I saved these wild strawberries from our friends yard, against all johns advice i decided to see if they would grow on our bedroom window and they grew a treat! so i made a cake and put them on top. 

Walter.

This is Walter. He is pretty sophisticated. We picked him up from the charity shop.

Flora.

I, like most, like flowers. I get mine mostly from the man at the side of the road or from friends and more recently from a friends garden whilst playing conservationist to their excavation project.

Easy as pie.

I baked a pie, a pear and bramble pie actually!

I hear it's the jubilee this weekend, two of my favourite things are bunting and the royal family!

Any excuse to hang some of our vintage Union Jack bunting!

Grey

I want this to be my house. I am even feeling brat like about it. I don't even know where it is. But its perfect, the shade of grey its years has made it, the teeny window at the very top and the hight of the trees around it I even like the grey skies. Oh i could get a grey cat and some grey socks to match.

Absolutely loving the photography work of Ellie Davies. Her pictures seem to perfectly capture the mystical feeling you find deep in a forest.

Cooked Book

How great is this edible cook book. Made out of pasta and embossed with instructions, the pages can be filled with ingredients to create a tasty looking lasagne - genius!

Coral and Tusk.

Really love these embroidery pillows from Coral and Tusk. At the top of my wish list is the tug boat pillow and the Animal wreath napkin set. I'm enjoying their fresh take on the age old craft.

Nardini

We finally got to visit (the world famous) Nardini's in Largs last weekend for some ice cream which was a treat.

This illustration is by Adrian McMurchie who I had the pleasure of working with recently. His website is packed full of lovely architectural and food illustrations.
