Born in Shimane. Learned woodwork. Started his career as an artist. Set up his atelier in Matsu. Moved to Tokyo.
His website is in Japanese - this is all the information gather, but this guy seems to have carved all my favorite things out if wood! aren't they beautiful, what a champ!! You best go have a look at the rest yourself i think they are all brilliant.
