This stopframe music video for Josh Ritter used over 12,000 pieces of paper with no effects added – pretty impressive!

Manchester Orchestra

We were lucky enough to see the magnificent Manchester Orchestra last night.

They were really great as expected. The video above is for "I can barely breathe" which was a definite highlight for me.

the tallest man on earth.

A few months  ago we managed to catch The Tallest Man On Earth play a show in London. Kristian Matsson better known as The Tallest Man On Earth (who is actually not the tallest man on earth by a long way) was brilliant/excellent/wonderful.

I managed to meet him after the show and he was most polite and he graciously agreed to let me take a snap of him. After giving him strict instructions to stay still as i had not bought my flash and made him stand under a dim light, i giddily took this photo and in my excitement didn't check any of my settings.

So that explains why this photo is so awful and also why i love it. listen to his music here. Trust me its well worth it and you will listen to nothing else for weeks.

Tom Cops

Some really nice medium format and pinhole photography from Tom Cops. Shown above is a portrait of the wonderful Casiotone for the Painfully Alone.

In Our Talons

The sun is out and today and it's looking positively spring-like! I had Bowerbirds on my iPod at lunch time as I soaked in some rays. Perfect.

Perfect for a Rainy Day!

Its cold, wet and overcast here in Glasgow this morning. I put My Latest Novel in my ears walking to work and thought it sounded even better than normal in these conditions.

If its gloomy out where you are, put it on and turn it up.

I Declare A Ceasefire by my latest novel

Very much looking forward to their new album, "Good Bees, Strong Hives" which hopefully will be out sometime soon.

Benjamin Francis Leftwich

Firstly, the beautifully shot video for 'Atlas Hands', the lead track from 'A Million Miles Out' EP.

And Secondly, the title track from the very talented Mr Leftwich's new EP which came out today. You can buy it here.

I was lucky enough to see Benjamin Francis Leftwich play a small gig in Glasgow last week. If you get the chance I would highly recommend going along to one of his shows.

Admiral Fallow… finally

We had to wait a while for this one, but finally we got the opportunity to see the fantastic Admiral Fallow last night and they certainly did not disappoint. Here are a couple of videos of them playing the BBC Introducing Stage at last years T in the Park. Enjoy.
