Ellie Davies

Absolutely loving the photography work of Ellie Davies. Her pictures seem to perfectly capture the mystical feeling you find deep in a forest.

The images bellow are from her 'The Dwelling', 'Come with me' and 'The Gloaming'  projects.

I love this. The dymo labels, Organizing, and even how they are photographed so lovely via Loved despite great faults.

Maddie On Things

Described as a supper serious project about Dogs and Physics - Maddie On Things is… well… a dog called Maddie standing on things - brilliant!

wooden churches.

Last week we did a bit of driving through New South Wales. We kept stumbling upon really nice, old churches dotted around the countryside and loved how different they are to the ones we find back home.

Here are some we found on our travels.

Freezing cold castles.

This past weekend we bravely headed out with a thermos of soup to Bothwell Castle. I say bravely as this was the first absolutely freezing day we have had in a while – giving us a taste of things to look forward to. I really don't mind the cold though when there are places like this not far from our house.

Note to self find john some wellies.

Washed Up

Washed Up is a photo series by Alejandro Duran who has collected rubbish that has “washed ashore from forty-two nations on six continents” onto the shores of Sian Ka’an, Mexico’s largest federally-protected reserve. Beautiful yet very sad.

Littleferry Pier.

During our time up north, we tried out our new bikes by cycling to one of our favourite spots in Golspie - Littleferry Pier.

Here are some snaps from my DSLR, Sally had her Nikon out so she might upload a few pics when her next batch of film gets developed!
