Kilt Jackets.

On a recent trip to the car boot sale, I managed to pick up these little beauties for only £6 the pair!

The tweed one is my favourite and came with a matching waistcoat and really cool leather buttons.

These are definitely one of my proudest car boot finds, now all I need is an excuse to wear them! 

Create!

I have been doing a bit of work recently for our good friend Nicola.

Her wonderful new shop 'Create' opens this weekend. Unfortunately we can't make the grand opening, but we got a sneaky peak last week and it was looking really great!

She will be selling a whole host of hand-made, vintage and crafty goods as well as offering craft classes to the lucky people of Blairgowrie.

Her website is currently under construction but will be online soon (I hope).

Ladder

We have been really busy gathering together a whole load of new 'stuff' over the last few weeks – including this old step ladder. I spotted it abandoned at the side of the road while on my way back from work and thought it deserved better.

It is now home to some of our latest finds.

A Wish for Winter.

Today when i walked to work, it was still dark cold and raining. It gave me a chance to think about how much i am not looking forward to winter. Until i fell upon this lovely picnic. From this lovely blog.

Airspace is basically locations for film of photography. i am never ever going to need there services nevertheless i have thoroughly enjoyed having a look through.

Manchester Orchestra

We were lucky enough to see the magnificent Manchester Orchestra last night.

They were really great as expected. The video above is for "I can barely breathe" which was a definite highlight for me.

Blanket.

I just ordered the first printed edition of blanket magazine. Actually John did via his paypal account although he doesn't know yet, i just had to have it and besides i don't think he will mind given this spiel about the magazine from the website – "Designed to be a limited edition keepsake every detail has been meticulously considered to accentuate the tangible quality of this printed edition. home envy.

Recently my charity shopping has gotten out of hand.

I have made friends with all the lovely people that volunteer in them and i go sometimes more than twice a week. John was making a list of all the things we have already too much of, top of the list was tins, then enamel, blankets, tea towels, kitchen utensils and table cloths.

I kind of agree but then i saw this home and collections that belongs to this lovely lady. Sorry john choose your battles i can't stop.
